Sig Sauer Introduces ROMEO-X Red Dot Sights

American weapons manufacturer Sig Sauer has launched its new ROMEO-X red dot gun sight for improved performance, reliability, and durability.

Inspired by the ROMEO-M17 optic, the ROMEO-X underwent trials to evaluate its ability to withstand the rigors of the battlefield.

It features a 24-millimeter diameter window with distortion-free aspheric glass and a state-of-the-art sight adjustment system.

Additionally, the ROMEO-X allows operators to choose from 15 brightness settings to support day and night military operations.

Its battery provides a minimum continuous runtime of 20,000 hours and can be removed without detaching the optic.

“The ROMEO-X family of red dot sights is completely optimized for everyday carry and built using the same technology and testing standards of our mil-spec optics,” Sig Sauer president Andy York said.

Two Models

The ROMEO-X red dot sight comes in two variants: the ROMEO-X Compact for micro-compact pistols and the ROMEO-X Pro for full-size pistols such as the P320.

The first model has a SHIELD Reflex Mini-Sight Compact mounting footprint, while the other features a DeltaPoint Pro mounting footprint.

The compact version has an overall length of 41 millimeters (1.6 inches) and a width of 31 millimeters (1.22 inches).

Meanwhile, the ROMEO-X Pro is 46-millimeter (1.8-inch) long and 32.7-millimeter (1.28-inch) wide.

The ROMEO-X Compact and ROMEO-X Pro cost $409.99 and $459.99, respectively.
