Arabian Sea
The Arabian Sea is part of the northwest Indian Ocean, stretching 3,862,000 square kilometers (1,491,000 square miles) and forming part of the sea route between India and Europe. It is bordered by the Horn of Africa to the west, Iran and Pakistan to the north and India to the east. It is connected to the Persian Gulf by the Strait of Hormuz in the Gulf of Oman.
