DC Firm Pitches Machine Gun Fitted Drone for Ukraine

Feloni Aero launched a pair of armed unmanned aerial systems for potential deployment in Ukraine.

Designed for surveillance, reconnaissance, and precision targeting, the Felon 1.0 and FelonX feature a 5.56mm weapon system, including belt-fed ammunition and a mini Spike missile launcher, respectively.

For enhanced precision, they are integrated with a semi-active laser targeting system.

Counter-Drone Tech

Moreover, they feature the company’s counter drone millimeter wave technology to detect, track, and neutralize drones. 

This advanced technology enables rapid response to potential threats, safeguarding critical infrastructure, public events, and military installations from malicious drone incursions,” the Washington DC-based drone manufacturer explained.

“With its ability to provide real-time situational awareness and proactive countermeasures, the C-UAS technology emerges as a critical asset in the defense against unauthorized drone activity.”

Additional Features

Additional features include an electro-optical system and a night vision and thermal imaging camera. 

They have an endurance of 40 minutes and transmission range of 12.4 miles (20 kilometers).

Both are equipped with advanced flight control modules and algorithms to counter radio frequency interference, electromagnetic interference, and GPS spoofing.
