HII Mission Technologies has received a $41-million contract to expand training systems support for the US Navy.
Under the contract, the company will deliver integrated training systems installation and sustainment services for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) in Virginia, considered the “largest US Navy fleet concentration site.”
The work will involve training system maintenance and integration, hardware and software updates, logistics support, curriculum development, and fleet training.
It will also include cybersecurity, laboratory support, configuration management, and associated life-cycle sustainment services.
The effort will run for a year and includes a six-month extension option.
“HII is excited to continue our partnership with NAVSEA and deliver shipboard and shore-site integrated training system hardware and software installation and life-cycle sustainment services,” HII Mission Technologies Fleet Sustainment President Ryan Norris said.

NSWCDD DNA operates the Readiness and Training Systems Department for advanced research and development and warfare systems design to secure warfighter dominance at sea.
Readiness and Training Systems works alongside six other NSWCDD technical departments to innovate effective and affordable integrated training systems, cyber warfare, sustainment, and fleet readiness solutions for the US Navy.
The NSWCDD DNA workforce comprises over 400 employees operating nationwide in various fleet concentration areas.
