nTSI Bags $637 Million Engineering Contract for Missile Defense Agency

nou Systems and Modern Technology Solutions Inc. (MTSI) joint venture nTSI has received a contract to support the US layered missile defense system.

The $637-million agreement is part of the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) efforts to secure the US, its allies, and partner militaries from missile attacks.

‘High Impact’ Solutions

Under the agreement, nTSI will provide engineering services for MDA threat systems, directed energy, hypersonic defense, space, and cybersecurity systems.

The firm will also support the agency’s collateral effects and consequence management, hit/kill assessment, testing, and training.

“We are excited for the opportunity to support such an impactful mission for the MDA to increase advanced missile defense capabilities for the nation,” nou Systems President Dr. Brent Romine stated.

“This is a great win for nou Systems and our joint venture with MTSI. Our team diligently worked in preparation for this effort. We are eager to create an enduring and high impact Specialized Engineering Analyses capability for the MDA.”

‘An Exceptional Match’

nTSI will deliver engineering solutions for the US-Israeli Cooperative Program to modernize the countries’ missile systems.

Work for the contract will take place over seven and a half years in New Mexico, Alabama, Virginia, Colorado, and Israel.

“The integration of MTSI and nou Systems capabilities in the specialty engineering fields…are an exceptional match to what MDA needs to keep pace with a rapidly evolving threat,” MTSI President and CEO Kevin Robinson explained.

“This contract is the first of what I expect to be many successful opportunities for the nTSI joint venture to deliver highly differentiated solutions to MDA and other national security customers.”
